These are built for strength and durability, the strong polyester core is braided over with strands of Dupont Kevlar(r) within the outer sleeve. Look closely at the photos and you can see the black strands of Kevlar reinforcing. The tips (aglets) are manufactured in a plastic matching color and allow for easy boot lace up. These are a large diameter 3/16 inch lace. Please check to see that you have larger boot eyelets.
